Tahoe Chamber ‘Connect for a Cause’ mixer raises over $1k for Live Violence Free
The community came together recently for the Tahoe Chamber’s Connect for a Cause Charity Mixer to benefit Live Violence Free.
Attendees gathered at Lake Tahoe AleWorX April 25 to enjoy appetizers, self-poured beer and wine, and live music from Adam Bergoch on the patio.
“Live Violence Free is an incredible charity, and it was wonderful to see the community give back to such a deserving organization,” Emily Abernathy, Tahoe Chamber Director of Operations, said in a press release.
More than 70 community members attended the event and together raised $1,280 for Live Violence Free, whose mission is to end violence in the South Shore community through education and advocacy.
Lake Tahoe AleWorX provided artisan appetizers and discounted pricing to attendees.
