Tahoe Douglas Rotary Donates to the community

The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club held its annual Community Donation Day on June 11 at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa. Thanks to a successful Saint Patrick’s Day fundraiser, the community service organization was able to award a total of $15, 175 to representatives from numerous local community groups and social service agencies.

Recipients included the Barton Foundation, Kahle Park, SAFE, Whittell High School, South Tahoe High School Grad Night, South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center, Tahoe Arts Project, Tahoe Youth and Family Services, REEL Recovery, SAFE, CASA, Douglas County Search and Rescue, Chimney Rock Fire Safe Council, Get In The Act, Boys & Girls Club, Babe Ruth, HERO Scholarships, Austin’s House, the Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation, Lake Tahoe Shining Stars, Kids Fishing Derby and Sports Connection.
