Tahoe-Friendly landscaping free trainings and workshops

The Tahoe Resource Conservation District in partnership with the South Tahoe Public Utility District is hosting free Tahoe-Friendly Landscaping trainings for the month of July. Celebrate Smart Irrigation Month by joining in on these opportunities to learn smart techniques and technology to conserve water.

“Irrigation Controllers: Timing is Everything,” takes place July 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This training will be held at the Tahoe City PUD offices, focus will be on the changing field of irrigation technology. Learn how to update irrigation knowledge and practices with the use of high efficiency irrigation tools.



“Understanding and Implementing Micro-irrigation,” takes place – Aug. 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This training will be held at the North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach. Understand irrigation controllers and program option features to support healthy landscapes during watering restrictions.
