Santa looks over the goodies at Lake Tahoe Community College being delivered by Tahoe Magic, a nonprofit organization that helps families in need. The organization arranged for seven Santas and 14 elves to bring Christmas magic to various families at South Shore. One Santa and two elves teamed up to bring seven to 10 gifts for each needy child. Gifts were gathered through donations. “We want them to know that wonderful things can happen to them and Santa is a part of that,” said Wendy David, a member of Tahoe Magic.

In all, 400 children will be provided gifts during the holiday season. The organization sent gifts to 75 families on Tuesday. The Santas gathered presents and dashed off to their duties.
