Tahoe Mountain Club recently announced Willy Carroll as the new executive chef for P.J’s Restaurant and all Tahoe Mountain Club properties. Although he has only been at Tahoe Mountain Club a few months, he has already updated the menu with new locally sourced entrees, according to a press release. He also took first place at the recent Truckee Rib cookoff.

Carroll brings 12 years of culinary experience, as well as a background in golf specific establishments, and will play a key role in furthering TMC’s commitment to fresh, seasonal cuisine. Before joining the Tahoe Mountain Club team, Carroll worked at restaurants such as Garwood’s, Riva Grill, and Caliente. Carroll plans to enhance partnerships with local and sustainable purveyors and to bring in the highest quality produce, meats, seafood and cheeses in an effort to minimize Tahoe Mountain Club’s carbon footprint.
