Tahoe Paradise Park field trip Saturday

Rick Chandler

A neighborhood forum will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon concerning recreation planning for Tahoe Paradise Park. The forum, to be held at Meyers Elementary School, is being sponsored by El Dorado County, the Tahoe Paradise Resort Improvement District and the South Tahoe Alliance for Recreation. Presentations will be made on the County Recreation Facilities Master Plan, and specific proposed improvements for the park.

The plan proposes to provide funds to repair and upgrade existing park facilities, maintain those facilities and to construct three new athletic fields for community use on land adjacent to the park now owned by the U.S. Forest Service.

A field trip to potential athletic field expansion sites will follow the forum. Information: Dennis Crabb (530) 544-1785.
