Tahoe Resource Conservation District hires new district manager
Tahoe Resource Conservation District’s new district manager, John Skeel, officially took over duties on July 19 at TRCD’s offices in South Lake Tahoe.
Skeel has 24 years of experience working with government organizations and not-for-profit agencies, focused primarily on community services, parks and recreation. During this time, Mr. Skeel has managed multiple parks totaling hundreds of acres, as well as recreation centers, lakes and other facilities, receiving extensive experience in administrative, financial, planning, restructuring, staff development, marketing, special events, and public/private partnerships.
“I’m really looking forward to working with Tahoe Resource Conservation District,” Skeel stated in a press release. “Some of my goals with Tahoe RCD include improving the efficiency of programs and operations and developing ways to improve communication between Tahoe RCD and the community.”
