Tahoe Today: Let the people speak

Dayle Schear

Dear Ms. Schear:

About four or five years ago, we had the pleasure of attending your show at the Horizon. We were four guys up to Tahoe for a volleyball tourney, and you had a great time (all in fun) with us during the show. We always laugh and say “what a great time we had at your show” when we see your name up on the marquee at the Horizon.

That was a great story about Bruno Mars. He’s going to win a lot more awards, just you watch!

There are people in the world with limited vision, so be it. You have a great spirit, and I enjoy reading your column. Please continue.

Sincerely from a fan

PS: “Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not.” -Jeremiah 5:21

My Response:

Thank you so much for your wonderful note, and above all for taking the time to write. I know God gave me a gift to help people, this is what I do best. Whether it be in a show at the Horizon or one-to-one in person, if I can touch and help just one person in this world it is surely all worth it.

You are correct. I do remember you guys and sometimes my show is fun and other times most serious. The most important thing is to make the show entertaining and fun but the serious moments sometimes are very heart-wrenching for me. Once again, thank you for writing, from the bottom of my heart, and hope this summer starting June 2012, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you will be able to attend my show. If you would like, I would love to comp you into my show so I will give you a call as soon as I get over this silly cold.

All my best,

Another voice:

Dear Dayle, my name is Mary and I am a South Lake Tahoe resident. During the months of October, November, and December of 2011, my husband and I were driving once a week to the Bay Area to work on our rental – we would drive through Clements just about every trip. Every time we would drive through this small town I would feel nauseous and uncomfortable. One trip I turned to my husband and said to him something terrible has happened here and the evil that I am feeling is very thick and heavy. I would also feel vibrations and hear rumbling like a lot of motorcycles were near. Last night on the news I found out that the investigations into some human remains at a well is near Clements.

My question is, do you think there could be more to this story than just the man who the police are talking with, like a biker gang? This is not the first time I have had an experience like this, but this time these feelings seem to be al lot stronger than anything that has ever happened to me. I am 45 years old and have had these experiences since I was a little girl. Do you have any suggestions on how I should handle these feelings?

Thank you

My response:

Thank you, Mary, for sharing. I believe you are picking up the bikers. You are correct in your vision, however not a gang, there is more to this story. When a crime occurs the imprint is left in the universe and sensitive people such as yourself will pick information up, go with your feelings.
