TahoeChamber offers online training for businesses

TahoeChamber is offering a new online training system to local businesses.

TahoeChamber has contracted with Coggno to facilitate the purchase of popular online training courses from the company’s online library, according to a press release. Business owners can access Coggno online training courses directly through TahoeChamber’s website and purchase as few or as many courses as needed.

The goal of the contract between Tahoe Chamber and Coggno is to provide easy access to online training courses relevant to membership. Tahoe Chamber aims to provide the resources necessary to help members grow and increase the skill set of their employees.

“Traveling to conferences is time consuming and costly. Coggno provides locals businesses, large and small, with a cost-‐effective alternative,” Betty “B” Gorman, Tahoe Chamber President and CEO, stated in the release.

Chamber members may access one free course of their choosing during the first 30 days of the program. Selected courses must be $30 or less. The program can be accessed at http://www.tahoechamber.org.
