Business owners are invited to attend a California legal update workshop Wednesday to learn about new employment laws and how they will impact business in 2014.

The session will be presented by TahoeChamber in partnership with HG Business Law, LLP, a 21st century firm in South Lake Tahoe that focuses on business development and business-related issues. Heather Satin and Galia Aharoni, owners of HG Business Law, LLP, will present highlights of new California legislation and case law updates, including new wage and hour laws, expanded whistleblower protection and new protections based on immigration status.

The workshop will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. at the TahoeChamber conference room, 169 Hwy 50, Stateline, Nev. The workshop costs $20 for members and $30 for nonmembers.
