Homecoming highlights weekend
The South Tahoe High School Vikings football team is hosting its annual homecoming game this Friday night under the lights of the newly remodeled Viking Bowl Stadium.
The junior varsity game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and the varsity kickoff is at 6 p.m. instead of the usual 7 p.m. The student body homecoming dance is the same evening.
All students, families, alumni and community members are invited to attend.
The South Tahoe volleyball team will host Truckee at 5 p.m. Friday.
The South Tahoe girls soccer team hosts Sparks at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Whittell hosts Smith Valley
The Warriors football team(1-1) will carry momentum from its recent win into a Friday night home game against Smith Valley. Kick off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Whittell varsity volleyball hosts Smith Valley at 6 p.m. Friday.
