Dixie Murnane won second prize for her gouache landscape painting “On the Road to Blue Lakes.” Her works are on display at the Art Center, 3062 Lake Tahoe Blvd., and at the Snowflake Gallery at Barton Memorial Hospital.

Helmut Klementi was awarded third prize for his large color photograph featuring two swallowtail butterflies feeding on pink blooms at the High Sierra Iris Gardens, which he took during an art league excursion to Camino, Calif. In addition to photography, Klementi enjoys creating with wood and working in his garden. His photography is on display at the Snowflake Gallery.
