TAMBA Fall Party Friday at Heavenly
The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association will celebrate its annual Fall Party from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Heavenly Mountain Resort’s California Lodge.
TAMBA and guests will celebrate another season of mountain biking and trail building.
There will be a movie showing of “Return to Earth” along with a pasta dinner, drinks, raffle prizes, swag and a membership drive.
The movie will be at 7 p.m.
TAMBA is a volunteer driven non-profit organization that builds and maintains over 100 trails a year and is a big advocate for multi-use trails at Lake Tahoe and mountain biking education.
During 2019, TAMBA volunteers completed build work on several trails including a new single track to Stanford Rock and continued work on Lily Lake Trail, the new Beaver Tail Trail in Kings Beach and Stumpy GS in Tahoe City, plus continued work at Bijou Bike Park.
There has been ongoing tree clearing and maintenance on other popular trails as well.
TAMBA raised money for the mountain bike community and future trail work advancements with their events that include Tahoe Mountain Bike Festival, Rose to Toads and Corral Night Ride.
The fall party is free.
