Sally J. Taylor

Delivery of dollars previously allocated for several projects is expected to be approved Wednesday by the Tahoe-Douglas Visitors Authority Board of Directors.

The meeting begins promptly at 6 p.m. at Lakeside Inn & Casino.

The board is expected to take action on a funding agreement with the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority for is marketing programs and special events projects during the 1999-2000 fiscal year.

The board is expected to approve funding for the Tahoe-Douglas Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center.

The board will take a look at the marketing plans for Tahoe Air and Allegiant Air and, if consistent with the TDVA’s objectives, could approve funding for advertising.

Other plans on the agenda include updates on the TDVA strategic marketing plan, an update on plans for Labor Day Lake Tahoe, and a proposal by Comstock Magazine for a special fall feature in the Carson Valley area.
