by staff

The Tahoe-Douglas Visitors Authority Board of Directors will consider budgets for 1997-98 and 1998-99 during a special meeting today at 9:30 a.m. at Lakeside Inn & Casino.

The organization, created in July by the Nevada legislature to manage tourism promotions in Douglas County, met for the first time November.

The board also will discuss funding and implementation of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority marketing plan and the selection of an accountant to audit the TDVA’s expenditures for 1997-98.
