Founded in 2010 and comprised of a dozen musicians, Florida-based Tedeschi Trucks Band brings their brand of southern twang to South Shore on Saturday, Sept. 10, with a performance at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Stateline.

“Well-known for their outstanding live performances, the formidable husband-and-wife duo are now exploring new ideas together through songs rooted in the blues and infused with their own unique blend of southern soul, American roots music, authentic rock ‘n’ roll, and a touch of Florida swamp music,” states the band’s Facebook biography.

Their newest album, “Let Me Get By,” released on Jan. 29 earlier this year and is a culmination of traits that make the band unique.

“‘Let Me Get By,’ benefits from a number of musical elements that have become TTB trademarks: their deep sense of American roots music: rock, blues, soul, and especially gospel. Their balance of easy-flowing song structures and soaring, improvisational sections. Tedeschi’s spiritually charged vocals, and Trucks’ wide range of guitar tones, slide and picked, from back-alley, distorted rawness to Indian sitar-like sinuousness,” according to Tedeschi Trucks Band’s website.

The group’s Stateline concert begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.

MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa is located at 55 US 50.
