Teen reading program

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Douglas County Public Library’s teen summer reading program, “You are Here” starts on June 6 and continues through July 30.

Attend fun events to play Nintendo Wii games, make a pinata, learn Caribbean cooking, and paint a T-shirt. Win sandwiches, movie tickets, pizza, T-shirts, and more.

This year’s grand prize is a glider ride courtesy of the Minden-Tahoe Airport and SoaringNV. The program is for teens ages 12 to 18 years old.

The Teen Summer Reading program is sponsored by Friends of Douglas County Library and the Dragon Slayers, the Douglas County Public Library Teen Advisory Board. For more information visit douglas.lib.nv.us or contact Maria at 775-782-9841.
