Temple Bat Yam annual wine tasting fundraiser

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Lake Tahoe’s Temple Bat Yam is holding its annual spring Wine Tasting fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday. This year’s event will be held at The Loft at the Blue Angel on Ski Run Boulevard.

There will be wine, hors d’oeuvres and desserts served, and music to enjoy and dance to. A raffle will be held and prizes include a stay at a condo in Maui, a Fourth of July weekend in San Francisco where the winner can see the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge from the front window, and a weekend in Chicago. There will also be a silent auction.

Rabbi Jonathan Freirich and his wife, Ginny Reel, will be honored before they move east where Jonathan will be associate rabbi at Temple Beth El in Charlotte, N.C.

The public is invited to attend this event. Tickets to the event will not be sold at the door. The cost is $45 per person and raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. Call 530-542-1211 or e-mail TBY at templebatyam@yahoo.com for more information.
