Testosterone two-step puts men in jail

A dispute over who would dance with two women at Club Nero inside Caesars Tahoe ended with two men arrested on battery charges, a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy said.

One of the men, a 24-year-old from Sacramento who had two years of martial arts training, was punched from behind, the deputy said. When he turned around, he punched a 21-year-old from Daly City in the forehead, causing blood to fall to the man’s chin.

The women stated they didn’t know what happened. Both men pressed charges against each other and were arrested.

n Four dollars in a coin bag was missing after a 28-year-old Arroyo Grande man was found in a 1998 Chevy Malibu at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy said.

The man said he owned the car, then changed his story by saying the car belonged to his mother’s friend, the deputy said. When asked to describe the friend, the man replied she was in her 30s with dark black hair. The owner was actually an 82-year-old woman with gray hair.

The man was booked into Douglas County Jail at $50,000 bail.

n A 55-year-old Henderson woman reported her wallet and the $6,000 in it stolen from Caesars Tahoe where she was playing dollar slots with her husband, a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy said.
