MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa hosts a Hollywood actor and an award-winning composer on one stage this week.

The Bacon Brothers, Kevin and Michael, perform in the Stateline casino’s theater at 7 p.m. this Friday, June 17.

The brothers played music together growing up and officially came together as a band in 1995. They’ve released eight albums together.

“Brothers Michael and Kevin Bacon, each accomplished in their own right, play gritty rock that is unapologetically unique and authentic,” according to the Bacon Brothers online biography. “Their style can best be described by their first album title, ‘Forosoco,’ a word describing the blend of folk, rock, soul and country influences. Now, nearly 20 years later, The Bacon Brothers continue to impress audiences and critics with their soulful sound and their latest offering of Americana ‘36 Cents.’”

Kevin Bacon is best known for his acting roles in films including “Footloose,” “Mystic River,” “Apollo 13” and “Tremors,” while older brother Michael is an Emmy Award-winning composer credited with original scores for film and television. Michael’s four-movement “Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra” debuted at The Schimmel Center in downtown Manhattan in March.

MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa is located at 55 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
