SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Modern day treasure hunters are coming to South Lake Tahoe.

Mark their calendars for the opportunity to meet one-on-one with specialists from Treasure Hunters Roadshow.

During this free event, the Treasure Hunters are expecting to see more than 1,200 residents bringing in their rare and unusual collectibles. Residents will have a chance to talk free to world-renowned antique and collectible representatives.

Keep an open mind when going through your attic and closets. A recent find includes a 1960s vintage guitar purchased by Treasure Hunters Roadshow for $100,000.

During this event at the Quality Inn & Suites Casino Area, Treasure Hunters Roadshow specialists are hoping to see items such as: coins and paper currency issued prior to 1970, toys, dolls, trains, vintage jewelry, old and modern musical instruments, war memorabilia, gold and silver jewelry, costume jewelry, advertising memorabilia, swords, knives, daggers, and the unusual.

Treasure hunters make offers based on rarity, collectability, condition and market value and, if the offer is accepted, pay for the items on the spot.

The Treasure Hunters Roadshow purchases gold items too.
