Toccata show to feature Vivaldi

Viva Vivaldi will be presented by Toccata -The Orchestra and Community Artists of the Tahoe Area – at 7:30 p.m. July 26 at the Valhalla Boathouse. The program will feature Vivaldi’s “Gloria and Concerto for Two Trumpets.”

Soloists include W. Van Meter and M. Lord, trumpet; O. Anderson, M. Arrigott, K. DeBoer and J. Strotz, sopranos; and S. Duke, baritone. Also to be performed are “Handel’s Concerto for Organ Op 4 #1” performed by D. Brock and J.S. Bach’s “Cantata #51 Jauchzet Gott” for soprano and trumpet.
