Trail building with young professionals
June 4, 2011
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Tahoe Regional Young Professions or “TRYP” is a new organization in South Lake Tahoe that aims to connect Tahoe’s next generation to help the Lake Tahoe community.
A dozen young professionals who want to give back have selected their first event – trail building on Daggett Summit, June 11 and June 14. One of TRYP’s goals is to encourage members to partake in charity fundraisers, socials, networking and opportunities to better the community.
The Tahoe Rim Trail Association project aims to move miles of trail from pavement to forest, improving the trail experience and eliminating conflicts with vehicles. When complete this project will add 13 miles of new trail to the Tahoe Rim Trail system.
