Tribune — Party filled local charity coffers

The Employee C.A.R.E. Committee at Embassy Suites, South Lake Tahoe would like to extend its gratitude to the many local merchants, schools and clubs who contributed to the success of the annual Community Holiday Party at Embassy Suites. Nearly 1,000 people, mostly locals, attended the party and a considerable amount of money, food and clothing was collected for local charities.

We especially acknowledge the donations and talent provided by Sysco Foods, Reno; Marica Sarosik and her wonderful dancers; Candace Robinson and the Robinson Violin Ensemble; the Zephyr Cove Elementary School band under the director of Heather Kuehner; and Mark Dulyanai, master and owner of Blue Lake Aikido.

And finally, we must acknowledge the generous and gracious hospitality of Simeon Miranda, general manager of Embassy Suites Resort, who provides the facilities and food and beverage for the spectacular annual Community Holiday Party.
