Tribune picks up awards in Nevada Press Association contest

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Daily Tribune picked up several awards at the Nevada Press Association 2011 “Better Newspaper Contest,” announced Saturday night at the newspaper organization’s annual convention. The awards include:

• First place, best investigative or in-depth story or series

• First place, best information graphic

• Second place, best news feature story

• Third place, best page one design

• Third place, best feature photo
