Tribune to launch new Web site

The Tahoe Daily Tribune will launch a completely redesigned Web site,, on June 3.

“The new offers our readers the opportunity to connect with their community,” said Tribune Publisher Gail Powell-Acosta. “The new site offers readers key features never before available that will significantly enhance their online experience.”

Key new features of the new Web site are:

— Readers can “get published” by using blogs, sharing photos, posting video and even publishing their own stories.

— Users can register on the new site and share their information and ideas with more than 4,000 daily users.

— As always, readers will have access to complete local news coverage, constant updates and more in-depth community information.

The new interactive calendar will help readers navigate their way through their day-to-day schedules and allow them to add their own events.
