TripAdvisor presentation Thursday
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Business owners can learn about TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, at a free presentation Thursday.
The presentation, featuring Todd Skelton, West Coast advertising sales manager at TripAdvisor, will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday at the meeting room of the Tahoe Chamber building at 169 Highway 50, Stateline.
The presentation is the result of a partnership between the South Lake Tahoe Lodging Association, TahoeChamber.org and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. The presentation will take place as part of the regularly scheduled Lodging Association meeting.
Skelton is experienced with Internet advertising for businesses and will speak to the sales and marketing tool that TripAdvisor has become. Skelton will address the site’s upgrades planned for 2011, how to respond to reviews as a sales tool, and how TripAdvisor can be used to create a positive communication environment with visitors. Businesses will learn how to access TripAdvisor tools and understand how to get real travelers to review. This workshop will help businesses understand how to communicate with TripAdvisor’s millions of monthly visitors, enabling them to plan and have the perfect trip to our community.
