Are you the person who always knows the right answer to random questions?
Have you ever wondered how you can put that knowledge to use?
Well, Tahoe has several Trivia Nights at pubs, wine bars and restaurants all around the lake.

While looking out over the lake at one of the bar’s cozy tables, amp up your random knowledge by competing for prizes.
Alibi Ale Works
Get witty in North Lake from 7-9 p.m., every Tuesday at Alibi Ale Works Incline Public House.
Trivia is hosted by Richie Ronne and guests can enjoy one of Alibi’s notorious brews whether you’re confidently answering questions or throwing out wild guesses.
Alibi Ale Works also features Bingo on Thursday nights.

During Trivia Night, Sidelines offers a burger and beer special for $10 with an extended happy hour.
Summer’s Trivia Nights offer gift cards for different restaurants as prizes — this week’s gift card is for Azul Latin Kitchen.
Prizes also include bar chips.
For Friday’s Trivia Night, she plays the music over the speakers and asks questions about each of the songs.
“I’ve been there for about a year and it is a hoot. It’s been really picking up,” she said.
Summer also writes all her own trivia questions.
“I’ve done art museum rounds, musical instruments, and national parks.
I try to keep it current and interesting so even if they don’t know the answers they’ll go home knowing something new.”
Summer also runs bingo night at Sidelines at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Karaoke at Pick 6 on Saturday nights.
Stay connected with all Summer’s fun events on Facebook with her page, Tahoe Trivioke.
She also puts hints to the next trivia in her Facebook posts.
“My goal with that is to not have everyone study online before trivia but think like, ‘oh Johnny knows about the X games, I’ll invite him to be on our team.’”
Summer is hosting an upcoming Trivia Night at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7.
Himmel Haus’ Trivia Night happens every at 9 p.m. Wednesday in the bar and lounge.
Teams up to six people battle it out for specialty German beer.
Entry to play trivia is always free.
Trivia categories change every week and include science, music and more.
Don’t miss this opportunity to win a German Glass Boot full of imported beers and other merchandise from beer vendors.

Trivia nights at SLBC are gaining popularity.
Nicole Smith from SLBC said they had over 24 teams playing at the trivia night on Jan. 6.
SLBC Trivia Night is free.
Contestants are not allowed to shout the answer and there are no outside sources allowed for trivia questions.
There are four quarters with three different bonus rounds in between quarters.
Trivia questions range from music, sports, entertainment, politics, history, literature, science, booze, geography, and more.
Smith told the Tribune, “Halftime bonus round is fun because we play 30 seconds each of 10 different songs and you have to guess the name of the title and artist/band.”
Bring your friends because each team is made up of four players.
Trivia Jockeys ultimately have the final say.
Prizes include: first place: $40 in gift cards, second: $30 in gift cards and third: $20 in gift card.
Also, Trivia Night participants receive 10% off beer.
