Trolley service up and running

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Nifty 50 Trolley is zipping along Highway 50. The trolley runs the normal BlueGo routes along the highway and connects on the West Shore with TART in Tahoma.

Stops include Camp Richardson, Tallac Historic Site, Emerald Bay, Eagle Falls Trailhead and DL Bliss State Park.

An all-day pass costs $5 while one-way fare is $2. There are discounts for students, seniors and disabled. BlueGo monthly and day passes are accepted on the trolley.



From June 4 to June 26, the trolley will only run on weekends. For the rest of the summer, until September 5, it will operate seven days a week. Between September 10 and October 2, the trolley will be back to weekends only.
