TRPA plans first retreat in years

The Governing Board of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency intends to meet Tuesday for a planning retreat.

“We try to do this annually, but we haven’t done it in a couple of years,” said Jerry Wells, deputy director of TRPA. “Now we have some new board members, and we thought it would be a good time for it.”

TRPA staff will brief the board on the agency’s three-year plan. Governing board members will discuss whether they feel the agency is on the right track.

The meeting is scheduled from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center, 660 U.S. Highway 50, Zephyr Cove.

TRPA’s Round Hill office will be closed that day.
