September brings with it the transition from Summertime Blues to Autumn Blues. On Tuesday nights, Harrah’s Casino Center Stage hosts Blues Nights, which the venue has done for the past three years.

“What started out as a planned ‘limited engagement’ has turned into three years of bringing great blues performances to the South Shore,” states Tahoe South’s webpage for the event.

“Tuesday Night Blues at Harrah’s Casino Center Stage continues with great guest musician/headliners joining Buddy Emmer and his scintillating blues band every week.”

On Tuesday, Sept. 27, Matty Taynton — a.k.a. Matty T — returns to Center Stage.

“Buddy Emmer and his redoubtable blues band have lined-up an impressive list of special guests for September,” according to the webpage.

“Longtime Northern Nevada musician Buddy Emmer will showcase local and regional headliner artists as they front Emmer’s smokin’ band with some of the best blues music around,” according to the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe website.

Tuesday Night Blues is held every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, located at 15 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.

“Locals and visitors are flocking to this hot entertainment offering at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, so head to Stateline on Tuesday nights and enjoy some roof poppin’, red hot Blues music, free at Casino Center Stage!” states the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe website.
