Two topics addressed at Better Breathers

Better Breathers will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Better Breathers is a free local support group formed to help patients, friends and family members learn more about breathing and how to maximize their health. Meetings are the third Wednesday of each month.

Davis Clay, licensed massage therapist, has been practicing at Lake Tahoe for 3 1/2 years. She will bring fresh ideas for stress reduction and relaxation utilizing massage. In addition to self-massage, she will share information about numerous techniques that can be of benefit specific to individual needs.

Dawn Spicer, RN, will present information regarding West Nile Virus, including awareness of local threat, symptoms and treatment, and prevention and control. She will encourage everyone to join the “Swat Team.”
