Tying spiritual ends together Sunday

Provided to the Tribune

What’s the point of following a spiritual life if you don’t apply it in your daily life?

Barry Lindsay of Unity at the Lake will address that question Sunday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“I like to ask people, ‘If you go to church or your synagogue or mosque or temple and you meditate regularly and you read all the right books, how come you are not truly happy or at peace with life when it throws you your challenges or opportunities?’ ” Lindsay said.

A counselor, teacher and 26-year Tahoe resident Lindsay discuss:

— Eliminating judgements.

— Identifying and changing negative habits.

— Being silent.

— Being fully present.

— Making the change you wish to see.

— Being accepting and mindful of others.

— Becoming the person you truly wish to be.

Call Lindsay at (530) 544-3884 or (530) 545-1569.
