UC Davis QB leaves team to pursue ministry

The Associated Press

DAVIS – UC Davis quarterback Greg Denham will not return for his senior season to pursue a career in the ministry.

Coach Bob Biggs announced Denham’s decision Thursday. Denham started the past two seasons for the Aggies. He has thrown for 6,435 yards and 46 touchdowns during his career.

Denham made the All-Great West Conference team twice in his career. He says this is one of the most difficult decisions he has ever made.
