Unity Day of Prayer is worldwide event

Hundreds of thousands of people across the globe on Thursday will join Silent Unity, an international and trans-denominational prayer ministry, and Unity churches around the world in a sacred partnership of prayer during the 13th annual Unity World Day of Prayer.

This sacred event is held annually on the second Thursday of September.

Unity World Day of Prayer is an interfaith event, open to people of all faiths and all walks of life.



Its purpose is to unite as many people as possible in prayer for one another and transform the world through prayer.

Both Unity at the Lake and Unity Church of Today in Minden will host events. The public is invited to Regan Beach Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or to Unity Church of Today, 1662 Highway 395 anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to pray silently or to join in prayer from wherever they are anytime during the day.
