University women meet

The South Lake Tahoe branch of the American Association of University Women will conduct its monthly program Feb. 13 at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. The program starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes a dinner from the Cork and More for $9. The meeting is open to all AAUW members and women interested in the organization.

Dr. Kimball Chatfield will speak about herbal and medicinal plants of the Sierra Nevada. He has authored a book on the same topic and taught at Lake Tahoe Community College.
