Update 12:01 p.m.: Road report for Lake Tahoe Basin

Here is the latest road reports for the Lake Tahoe Basin and surrounding areas as of noon today.

Chains mandatory for 35.1 miles between Drum , Calif., Exit 150 and Central Truckee Exit 186.

Chains mandatory for 11 miles between 10.6 miles east of Kyburz, Calif., and 4.1 miles west of Junction of California State Route 89.



Open with no controls, high wind advisory: campers and trailers are not advised for 6 miles between 2.3 miles north of Junction Highway 395 Business and State Route 529-North Carson Street and Winters Ranch.

Chains mandatory for 35.4 miles between Cooks Station, Calif., and 6.7 miles west of Junction State Route 89 at Picketts Junction.



Snowtires or chains required for 7.7 miles between 2.8 miles north of Junction HIghway 50 and Bliss State Park.

Snowtires or chains required for 12.6 miles between Junction State Route 28 and 11.9 miles south of Junction Highway 395.

Snowtires or chains required for 6.7 miles between Northstar and Junction California 28 at Kings Beach.
