Whittell High School and Zephyr Cove Elementary School are on lock down while Douglas County deputies are responding to a report of a man with a gun on the hill above the schools.

No shots have been fired and there has been no report that the man, who is dressed in black, has aimed a weapon at anyone, authorities said.
