Update 2:05 p.m.: Reward offered for information in Carson Valley murder
A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a homicide that happened on Wildhorse Lane in northern Carson Valley early Thursday morning.

The investigators don’t need your name, but they do need your information to assist bringing those responsible for this crime to justice.
Benjamin Oxley, 36, a tenant residing at the location was shot to death in the home he was renting.. Oxley was employed as a rain gutter sales and installation specialist.
Capt. Keith Logan said someone called 911 at 3:20 a.m. to report a man had been shot. By the time deputies arrived, the victim was dead.
