Update 3 p.m.: Account set up for shooting victim

An account has been set up for donations to help offset medical costs for Eric Domingo, a 21-year-old South Lake Tahoe man who was shot in the face Saturday morning.

Donations may be made at any El Dorado Savings Bank location. The number of the savings account is 18000697, family members said.

Domingo, who graduated from South Tahoe High School and played football there, remained in critical condition at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno as of Monday afternoon.

“His medical status hasn’t changed,” said Adam Roland, Domingo’s brother. “Obviously, we’re hoping for the best.”

Domingo remained in a coma and was breathing with the help of a respirator, Roland added.

Family members were waiting Monday afternoon for an update from doctors on Domingo’s condition.
