Here are the latest chain controls and road conditions from the California and Nevada Highway Patrol:

Snowtires or chains required for 6.2 miles between 0.5 miles west of Glenbrook and 6.9 miles west of Junction US 395 at South Carson City.

” Snowtires or chains required for 36 miles between 0.5 miles east of Junction State Route 121-Dixie Valley Road and 3.9 miles west of Antelope Turnout.

” Snowtires or chains required for 11.3 miles between 0.3 miles east of Austin and 0.3 miles west of Junction State Route 376.

Open with no controls, high wind advisory: campers and trailers are not advised for 6 miles between 2.3 miles north of Junction US 395 Business and State Route 529-North Carson Street and Winters Ranch.

Snowtires or chains required for 7.8 miles between Junction Highway 50 and 8.3 miles south of California state line.

Snowtires or chains required for 4.4 miles between Hams Station, Calif., and 4.4 miles east of Hams Station.
