Update 5:19 p.m.: El Dorado bank on Emerald Bay Road robbed, man flees on red mountain bike

Police are looking for a 5-foot-9-inch tall Caucasian man who robbed El Dorado Savings Bank on Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe shortly before 5 p.m. today.

No weapon was seen but a note was used, authorities said. He is said to weigh about 160 pounds. He was seen riding a full-suspension red mountain bike behind the U.S. Post Office. He was described as wearing a white Motley Crüe t-shirt, a tan sweatshirt, blue demin shorts, white socks, tan workman’s boots and a dark-colored backpack.
