Update 8:16 a.m.: Monday road report

The Nevada Department of Transportation and Caltrans has listed the following road restrictions as of 8:16 this morning. These conditions will be updated during the day.

Snowtires or chains required for 16.8 miles between 8.8 miles east of Kyburz and Junction of California State Route 89.

Snowtires or chains required for 10.6 miles between California state line and Tahoe City.

Chains mandatory for 45.2 miles between Baxter, Calif. Exit 148B and .9 miles west of Junction Hirschdale Road Exit 194.

Snowtires or chains required for 26.3 miles between Dew Drop, Calif. and Silver Lake Calif.. Chains mandatory for 5.2 miles between Silver Lake California and 0.4 miles east of Kirkwood.

Chains or snow tires required for 23.4 miles between 2.8 miles north of Junction US 50 and Junction California State Route 28 at Tahoe City. ” Snow tires or chains required for 13.3 miles between 5 miles north of Junction State Route 28 at Tahoe City and 4.9 miles north of Truckee.

Snow tires or chains required for 14.2 miles between SR 28 and 10.3 miles south of Junction US 395.
