Eastbound traffic along Highway 50 at Echo Summit is now open this afternoon as rescue workers retrieved a woman who apparently fell about 250 feet from the top of the summit.

The incident happened at around 12:15 this afternoon. The eastbound lane of Highway 50 reopened at about 2:30 p.m. and is reportedly moving slow.
