Utility district wins award

The South Lake Tahoe Public Utility District has been awarded the Excellent in Information Technology Practices award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC). The award was presented to Carol Swain Information Systems Manager for the district on Aug. 16, 2001. Ms. Swain accepted the award on behalf of herself and her staff. This award represents the ongoing commitment of the district staff to keep the South Tahoe Utility District on the cutting edge of technology. Keeping up to date with the changes in information technology helps bring cost savings to the public.
