Vacation home meeting moved to end of month

Susan Wood, Tahoe Daily Tribune

The city of South Lake Tahoe’s new vacation home ordinance is due to come up again Aug. 26 during a subcommittee meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. in the City Council chambers located at 1900 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

The city attorney’s office wants to allow more time for interested parties to make comments on the proposed ordinance now in a draft form. It was released at the last subcommittee meeting a few weeks ago.

Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the city’s administrative offices at 1052 Tata Lane between 8 a.m. and noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Written responses to the drafted ordinance must be received by Aug. 23. They may be sent by email to fmercado@ci.south-lake-tahoe.ca.us, by FAX at 530-542-4054 or hand delivered to the administrative center. Inquiries may be made by calling 542-6049.
