What better way for Dad to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a night out with his favorite girl – his daughter? Come spend a special evening on the town for fathers (or adult chaperone) and daughters. Tickets are available for the Douglas County Parks and Recreation seventh annual Father-Daughter Sweetheart Dance.

The dance is scheduled from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 10 p.m. at Harveys Convention Center. This event, sponsored by Harrah’s/Harveys, is always a sell-out.

Refreshments will be served and photo keepsakes of the evening will be available for a small additional fee.

Due to the popularity of this event, early registration is recommended.

Tickets are $12 per couple and $5 for each additional daughter and are available through Feb. 6. To purchase tickets visit Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade, or call (775) 586-7271 and pay by credit card.
