Valhalla Holiday Gala set for Saturday

The Tahoe Tallac Association will host its annual Holiday Gala Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the Valhalla Grand Hall.

Association volunteers gathered Nov. 18 to decorate the hall and a 20-foot Christmas tree. The group’s volunteers were also honored with certificates of appreciation.

The Holiday Gala is a fundraiser for the Valhalla Arts Festival. The event will begin with hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 p.m., followed by a holiday dinner with music by violin and guitar duo Avalanche and live and silent auctions. A variety of auction items will be provided by association board members.



Following the auction and a brief program, there will be music for dancing.

Shuttle service from the former Mikasa parking lot at “Y” will be provided courtesy of Woodwind Tours. The shuttle service will deliver guests to Valhalla from 5 to 7 p.m. and return guests to the parking area from 9 to 11:30 p.m.



Reservations are required and tickets are still available for the event. Individual seating is $80 for the general public and $65 for Tahoe Tallac Association members. Tables for six, eight and 10 people may still be available. For information or to make reservations, call (530) 541-4975 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
