Veterans group installs new officers

The Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Military Officer Association of America recently installed officers for 2008.

Heading the group for the coming year are Cdr. Tony R. Martinez, SC, USN (ret.), president; Col. Chris Anstassatos, NVANG (ret.), vice president; Lt. Col. Tom Buntin, USA (ret.), treasurer; and Cdr. Carol Evans, USN (ret.), secretary.

Board members include Maj. Warren Rapp, NVANG; Col. Jack Logan, USA (ret.); Cdr. Phil Silver, USN (ret.); Col. Kathy Roehr, NC, USA (ret.); Cw4 Les Schwartz, USA (ret.); and Patricia Worden, MOAA auxiliary.

MOAA is the nation’s leading association of military officers, with nearly 380,000 members.
