Video game burglary is pinned on Danville man

A 53-year-old Danville, Calif., man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a video game Monday night at the Embassy Vacation Resort. Police said the crime was captured on videotape.

Craig Wilson was carrying pry tools and gloves when employees detained him Tuesday around 9:44 p.m., police said. Still photos from the video were distributed to employees.

South Lake Tahoe Police Detective Martin Hewlett said Wilson might be facing additional burglary charges.

“The Embassy Vacation Resort has had a number of burglaries involving coin-operated machines, dating back to 1998,” Hewlett said. “The burglaries would occur and stop for several months, and then start up again.”
